Germany’s Data Centre capacity is projected to nearly double by 2030, reaching 4,800 MW. Representing one of our PMC clients, who are the bridge between ambitious global developers and the technical reality of German construction. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high-profile hyperscale and colocation builds across Germany's primary hubs.

 
Your Role: Leading from Inception to Handover
You will act as the Client Representative, managing multidisciplinary teams through the complex lifecycle of mission-critical projects. Your responsibilities include:
  • End-to-End Delivery: Owning the project roadmap, ensuring safe execution on schedule and within multi-million euro budgets.
  • Stakeholder Navigation: Acting as the primary interface between international developers, local contractors, and German regulatory authorities.
  • Regulatory & Sustainability Leadership: Navigating the German Energy Efficiency Act (EnEfG) and ensuring projects meet stringent PUE targets and waste heat recovery standards.
  • Commercial Oversight: Managing project controls, risk assessments, and tender evaluations for major CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) and MEP packages.
 
What You Bring
  • Experience: A proven track record (6 years) in senior project leadership within a PMC or consultancy environment, specifically on Data Centre or mission-critical builds.
  • Technical Foundation: A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred.
  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the DACH region’s statutory health and safety requirements and contractual models (VOB/BGB).
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English & German is essential; a minimum of B2/C1 German is required for effective coordination with local partners and authorities.
