What You'll Achieve As A Power Systems Engineer
  • Design and optimise resilient power distribution systems for large-scale data centre facilities
  • Deliver load flow, short circuit, arc flash, protection coordination, and earthing studies that drive real engineering decisions
  • Translate complex simulation outputs into clear reports that shape project design
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams to solve high-stakes power engineering challenges
  • Progress toward Chartered/Incorporated Engineer status with structured mentorship and support
What You'll Bring
  • Degree in Power Engineering or equivalent (BEng/MEng)
  • Experience in power systems engineering — data centre, oil & gas, or utilities backgrounds welcomed
  • Proficiency in ETAP (preferred), DIgSILENT, or SKM simulation software
  • Working knowledge of LV, MV, and ideally HV systems up to 33 kV
  • Understanding of generators, transformers, motors, and UPS systems
  • Working towards MCIBSE, MIET, or Chartered Engineer status
  • Strong analytical mindset with clear communication skills
  • Familiarity with BS standards and MS Office tools
