We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance Team in Luton. This is an exciting opportunity for a part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or AAT professional who is eager to progress in their finance career.

📌 The Role:

As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will work closely with our Finance Manager, supporting month-end reporting, financial analysis, and day-to-day financial operations. This role is perfect for someone with a strong analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail, looking to grow within a fast-paced environment.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing staff credit card and cash expenses from start to finish
  • Handling purchase invoices and assisting with supplier payment runs
  • Preparing month-end payroll journals & reconciliations
  • Assisting in the preparation of management accounts & financial analysis
  • Supporting quarterly VAT computations
  • Providing assistance during year-end audits
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support financial operations
  • Completing ad-hoc finance tasks as required
✅ About You:
  • Part-Qualified ACCA/CIMA/AAT (Actively studying)
  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) & Analytical mindset
  • Experience working in a fast-paced SME environment
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication & organisational skills
  • Knowledge of SAP Business One or similar ERP systems is essential
  • Understanding of payroll processes is an advantage
📍 Location: Luton (Office-based)
📅 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (37.5 hours per week)
