We started Eligo when we couldn’t find a company we wanted to progress our careers in – nor would we want others to! We can’t stand micromanagement, believe in quality over quantity, and most of all, drive our team of Eligoids to thrive as themselves in their own way whilst supporting them throughout.
Beginning as just John and Andy, and soon after Guy, our success brought even more new team members. From the start we’ve been a diverse group with different strengths, experience, and dance moves. This is so evident that our consultants aren’t just staff, they’re a different breed: they’re Eligoids!
An important part of our story – the introduction of Duvet Days!
We all have those days where we have had too many the night before, need some family time, or just want to have a break. For those days we introduced Duvet Days! Simply call up in the morning and no questions will be asked.
A small company, big ambitions. From the start we have worked with some impressive companies (if we do say so ourselves). When we first worked with Sony, the Walkman was only just getting surpassed by the iPod. Like technology, we have also grown, developing into 5 divisions of over 30 Eligoids, building some even more impressive relationships with clients along the way.
Performance at Eligo doesn’t go unrewarded! We first took our Eligoids to Marrakesh in 2007. Since, we have flown to Vegas, Dubai, Croatia, Barbados, and more. Our trips are a great chance to bond, enjoy each other’s company, and have fun together outside of the workplace, taking a well-earned break whilst we’re at it.
We’re proud of a lot of things at Eligo; our team, our clients and candidates, Tom not using his duvet days up within the first 2 months, and much more. We’re especially proud of the recognition we’ve received for the way we conduct business and the culture we’ve created here. Awards such as Best Enterprising Business, Best Business in the Borough, and Employer of the year are testament to this, and we’re excited to see what the future holds and how you can help us get there!
Get to know some of your future colleagues! We work hard, we play hard, and we know a good cliché when we see one. We all have our quirks, some have their own mugs, and most agree with the office music selection. Here it’s all about being able to come to work as you. Read more about some of our team below.
Founded Eligo with a vision to build a company with a culture of support, collaboration, and success, John and Andy have seen the company grow a lot since the early days of a tiny office and catching the postman to send CVs.
Today, they work from our lovely office in central Wimbledon, and technology has advanced, but the culture still remains.
Just about the only thing these two don’t agree on is football. Whilst Andy no longer revels in the highs of Chelsea’s success, John continues to be accustomed to being the football bridesmaid as an Arsenal fan.
