As AI and high-performance computing drive unprecedented heat loads, Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) is transforming mission-critical environments. We’re supporting a sustainability-focused data centre operator seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer – DLC to take technical ownership of advanced cooling systems in next-generation, low-carbon facilities across Denmark.
This is your chance to work at the cutting edge of data centre mechanical engineering, shaping how high-density environments are cooled efficiently, reliably and sustainably.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Lead the design, optimisation and operation of Direct Liquid Cooling systems
- Oversee mechanical infrastructure including CRAH/CRAC units, chillers, pumps, heat exchangers and pipework
- Support commissioning, performance testing and system integration
- Improve cooling efficiency, resilience and energy performance (PUE optimisation)
- Develop preventative maintenance strategies for critical cooling systems
- Provide technical leadership to engineers, technicians and contractors
- Support capacity upgrades for AI and high-density rack deployments
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, Data Centre Mechanical Engineer or Cooling Systems Engineer
- Strong knowledge of Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC), chilled water systems or advanced thermal management
- Background in mission-critical environments (data centres, pharma, industrial)
- Understanding of heat load calculations and mechanical system design
- Familiarity with commissioning and reliability engineering
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering
