Electrical Engineer – Data Center | MalaysiaLocation: Kuala Lumpur Salary: MYR 90,000 – 150,000 per year
Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to support the design, operation, and maintenance of mission-critical data center infrastructure in Malaysia. This role is key to ensuring high availability and efficiency of electrical systems.
Design and implement electrical systems including power distribution, UPS, generators, and lighting
Perform load calculations and develop electrical schematics and drawings
Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical faults
Monitor system performance and ensure minimal downtime
Ensure compliance with Malaysian regulations and international standards
Collaborate with mechanical, IT, and operations teams
Manage projects from planning through commissioning
Support emergency response and incident recovery
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
5 years of experience (data center or critical facilities preferred)
Strong knowledge of power systems, backup systems, and electrical design
Familiarity with standards such as IEC and local Malaysian codes
Good communication and problem-solving skills
