DevOps / Platform Engineer (Contract) London or Remote (UK) £600–£700 per day 6 month contract
A Series B ClimateTech startup building software to optimise renewable energy grids is hiring a DevOps / Platform Engineer to help scale their infrastructure as customer adoption grows.
The platform processes real-time energy grid data and requires reliable, scalable cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
Improve reliability, monitoring, and observability
Automate deployment processes across multiple services
Work with engineering teams to improve infrastructure efficiency
Support scaling of data processing workloads
Tech Stack
AWS (EKS, Lambda, S3)
Kubernetes
Terraform
GitHub Actions / CI pipelines
Prometheus & Grafana
Requirements
Strong experience with AWS and Kubernetes
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Experience building CI/CD pipelines
Background in DevOps or SRE roles
