Data Center Operations Engineer | Dubai, UAE Location: Dubai, UAE Salary: AED 220,000 – 320,000 per year
Job Description We are seeking a Data Center Operations Engineer to support the day-to-day running of a mission-critical facility in Dubai. This role focuses on maintaining uptime, managing infrastructure, and ensuring operational excellence.
Monitor and operate critical systems including power, cooling, and BMS
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and fault diagnosis
Respond to alarms, incidents, and outages with rapid resolution
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance activities
Maintain documentation, logs, and operational procedures
Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and global standards
Support capacity planning and system optimization
Participate in 24/7 shift rotations and emergency response
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field
3–7 years of experience in data center or critical environment operations
Strong understanding of UPS, generators, HVAC, and monitoring systems
Ability to work in a high-pressure, uptime-focused environment
