The move is part of a summer-long security campaign aimed at protecting crowded places.

FIREX 2018: Tall building fire safety management more essential than ever

Eligo Fire & Security news and jobs: passive fire, fire safety: Grenfell fire doors did not meet the standards“Grenfell will shape us for some time to come and it will make a difference and confirm the importance of management of these type of buildings.”, says chartered fire engineer, Russ Timson, who was speaking at FIREX International, which ran alongside Safety & Health Expo. Previously a firefighter of nearly 20 years, Timson underlined the importance of strong building management in preventing similar disasters. “Any building can be kept safe if it’s managed correctly,” he said. “It’s the biggest measure for existing buildings to see if they are safe or not. It’s critical.”

Eligo Fire & Security Jobs and weekly news: Cyber Security Threats at World Cup Russia 2018While fans from all over the world who are lucky enough to get tickets to see their country play in Russia are unsurprisingly excited, they are now being warned that they should take certain safety measures before they travel to Russia. The top US security agency has warned that visitors could be at risk of cyber-attacks. Russia has a reputation for poor network security from the government and criminals, and it is believed that any visitor to the World Cup is compromised due to how unsecure the location is. Fans are stronglt advised not to bring any devices that aren’t essential and to bring a different phone than normal and remove the battery when not in use.

Eligo Fire & Security Recruitment: Fire & Security jobs & news: CCTV: Bosch is acquiring stake in AI start-up companyThe Bosch Building Technologies division is partnering with Anyvision Interactive Technologies Ltd. and acquiring a 9 percent stake in the Israeli AI-based person- and object-recognition start-up. “Anyvision’s innovative technology, which makes it possible to identify persons and objects from various angles, will be a significant addition to the portfolio of solutions we already offer as a result of IP partnerships in this area.” As part of the agreed sales partnership, video security solutions offered by Bosch in the future will include the Anyvision software as an option.
