Contract QA/Quality Assurance engineer with strong experience of automation and software development needed by financial services tech consultancy in Central London.
6 month contract with a very competitive rate.
Responsibilities
- QA automation
- Define and execute the test strategy.
- Source control using GIT / SVN or similar
Requirements
- Experience of finance, ideally Buy Side, Banking, Energy Trading, eFX, Market Data, Investment Management, FinTech, Insurance or Marketing Technology space is required.
- Programming experience of Java or C# preferred
- Experience of testing APIs
- Experience of Agile
- Experience of automated testing initiatives using tools relevant to the language e.g. Selenium Webdriver, Webdriver IO, Specflow, JMeter.
- A strong testing background and has an awareness of modern testing techniques throughout the full software lifecycle (functional testing / non-functional / operational acceptance etc)
