Position: Business Development Manager (Electronic Fire & Security knowledge essential)

We are a Fire specialist company which over the past 14 years have grown from a couple of sales guys to a strong team of sales, engineers and support turning over 2 million+ with excellent customers across the UK. We have grown the business working with numerous commercial customers which through excellent service have retained for many years and grown on extended work and referrals.

We are now however looking for a new Business Development Manager... You

A strong confident business development manager, a go-getter, someone who loves getting in front of potential customers and growing the business, our aim is over the next 5 years to grow to 6/7 million but we need the right sales people.

You will be the main starting block of this and have the free will to go ahead as you please, the directors of the company are strong Sales managers who are happy to guide, help train and advise where needed.

This is a new business role, ideally you can bring across your strong relations and contacts in the industry but if you don't have that we will advise you how best to get out there and attack the market. We also get a lot of incoming enquiries which can be followed up and allow you to build relationships.

Your main role as a Business Development Manager with us

  • Bring on new commercial Fire maintenance contracts
  • Manage the system design team
  • Producing quotations and tenders
  • Develop and grow existing and new relationships with customers
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets
  • To have a genuine say in the business growth plans, not just responsible for sales

Package

  • Basic 45-55K DOE
  • Commission structure negotiable
  • Company car and car allowance
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
