Operations Manager wanted for a very well known B2B Conference organiser/publisher based in London who specialise in the Finance sector with events here in the UK and Internationally.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced event operations manager with 2 years+ experience to join a fast growing events business that operates globally. The Operations Manager will take specific responsibility for overseeing all logistical aspects of the UK and International conference organisation for their 6 flagship 2-day conferences per year, each with the potential for pre-day and post-day activities, as well as 4 smaller 1-day roundtable events per year. The role includes sourcing, negotiation with and liaison with all conference venues and suppliers as well as on-site management (including managing delegate registration and liaison) of conferences.
The role will require a dynamic individual with prior event operations experience capable of excelling in a forward-facing role managing and liaising with suppliers, venues, clients and attendees and who is looking for a role in a growth environment and ready for their next challenge. International travel throughout Europe and the Middle East is a requirement of the role. The successful candidate will be a proven achiever, have outstanding communication and organisational skills, demonstrate ability to manage and stay within budgets, have a keen eye for detail and importantly relish being the first point of contact for many of their network before during and immediately after the events.
To be considered for this Operations Manager role you must have proven B2B Conference/Event Operations with at least 2 to 3 years experience, great company, lots of international travel and a fast paced environment.
