Technical Manager (Fire and Security Manufacturer)

Due to growth, a Technology, Security and Counter Terror products manufacturer, with over 35 years operating Worldwide are now looking for a driven Technical Support Manager to manage and support the team with technical and product related matters including product management, management of all technical support staff, aiding in the development of future products, running the repair and maintenance department and oversee quality issues, assisting in annual audits and aiding in training of products to employees and customers.

It's an amazing opportunity for you to join a successful international firm and be a key part of the growth plans as our Technical Support Manager.

For this position you will ideally work for or have worked for a manufacturer.

LOCATION: Commutable to Slough area

AS A TECHNICAL SUPPORT MANAGER YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

  • Being the main point of contact for all product related enquires across CCTV, Access Control and Intruder
  • Developing new market ideas and increasing the development of product efficiency
  • Manage a team of office and field based technical.project support engineers
  • Providing technical advice to customers and staff through training sessions
  • Field visits to rectify problematic sites which are more advance for tech support engineers
  • Identifying technical weaknesses in products

THIS TECHNICAL SUPPORT MANAGEMENT ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE…

  • Strong technical knowledge across all security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intruder)
  • Technical mindset with strong security networking knowledge
  • Sales and presentation experience
  • Strong product market knowledge and market trends
  • Excellent customer facing skills
  • Strong on MS office suite, team viewer, CRM, MS Visio/CAD
