Senior Java Developer / Software Engineer (Scala, Akka, Play, React, Cloud)

One of the largest e-commerce retailers in the world is looking for experienced software engineers to work on multiple complex greenfield projects, from enterprise scale website development through to robotic control software.

Are you a driven software engineer with solid experience in Java and knowledge of Akka, Play, React or Scala? Are you looking for a role with new responsibility and challenges in exciting technology development?

If so, this is the Senior Java Development role for you.

As Senior Java Developer you will be experienced in the design and development of complex multi-threaded, object orientated software across a range of projects. As such you will be encouraged to offer technical ideas and improvements and be involved in all areas of the development process.

What can you bring to the table?

  • Solid Java 8 experience
  • Experience with either Akka, Play, React or Scala
  • Experience with complex software projects, threading, OO design
  • Passion for technology and continuous learning
