Senior Perl Developer

As Senior Perl Developer you have the chance to continue your enjoyment of learning new technologies whilst putting into practice your essential skills in;

  • OO Perl with Moose and DBIx::Class
  • Apache / Nginx
  • SQL (MySQL)
  • Linux
  • Version control (ideally with Git).

With high attention to detail and adaptability in your role, you will be adding new features and refactoring legacy code to improve the overall architecture as well as utilising skills in Solr, Template Toolkit, Plack and Javascript (JQuery).

Become part of the team

You'll be working with and coaching fellow developers to perform code reviews (with Gerrit) and continuous integration to increase code quality, as well as using commit hooks, Perltidy and Perl:Critic.

You will also be involved with daily standups, weekly demos and retrospectives to help increase the team's transparency and open collaboration.
