Fed up of cold calling all day to get any kind of result?
This position is 60% Account Management, 40% New Business, you have an existing client base to grow whilst looking for new opportunities and referrals.

Covering the South West (based from home)

The company has a track record of working with major retailers, plenty of testimonials and case studies.

Variety of projects, large scale, solving actual problems rather than selling an off the shelf solution (e.g. solving the problem of false alarms)

Influencing Installers, Integrators, End Users, Consultants and Distributors, so you have a very varied role and can influence the sale from multiple angles and maintain a control of your pipeline

Plenty of Integration with other technologies (CCTV, Infrared, lighting, detection) to offer a total solution

Struggling with price objection? - Because you are selling a solution the price objection is rarely in place, you are selling a solution to a problem so the conversation tends to be more about value.

Ambitious? Good! Several people within the business have been promoted previously and have started to head up their own teams, our culture supports that.

We need someone that can hunt out new business opportunities both over the phone and in person but also is excellent at managing accounts and dealing with their existing customers to seek out upsell and cross sell opportunities in your region (they have already landed some major national clients). Your ideas will be always welcome and you will get rewarded for all the hard work you put in!

I can do that, what will my package be?

  • Basic Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + commission (£50-60K OTE)
  • Car or Allowance (you can choose)
  • Healthcare & Pension (Matched)

  • Proven track record of sales in the Security market, preferably with knowledge of CCTV, Access Control or Intruder systems but not essential
  • Are able to demonstrate your ability to identify target clients, make an approach and secure meetings.
  • Ability and experience of developing and expanding existing accounts
  • Can sell quality over price
  • Have an excellent commercial mind, able to spot opportunities wherever you go
  • Capable of running a business within a business.
