An Ecommerce based business in London is searching for a PerlDeveloper to help engineer its Web and JEEapplication hosting platforms. Do you want to take full ownership and responsibility for projects whilst earning £40,000-£50,000.?
Aside from a personal passion for Perl programming, you'll also be qualified in Web hosting technologies with experience of product engineering practices.
You ideally have a degree in an IT related discipline or equivalent experience with strong OO Perl and Shell Scripting.
You're skilled in reverse-engineering legacy code and have strong Linux/Unix and Sys Admin Skills.
Experience with test driven development alongside Agile SDLC would also be a plus.
Aside from developing features for the company's hosting platform, you will also be responsible for quality assurance testing.
You will get to craft technical documentation such as design and training materials
You will be responsible for platform delivery from packaging and installation to configuration.
You'll be hands-on with platform support with troubleshooting, contributing to root cause analysis and problem resolution.
