Eligo Wimbledon Recruitment Event

As a leading Wimbledon Recruitment agency, we pride ourselves on learning, knowing, and actively participating in the markets we work in, attending various exhibitions, conferences, and workshops within these markets. Despite this, we have never held our own event where we get a chance to meet our clients, candidates, and local Wimbledon businesses with whom we enjoy success every day.

The summer is here and with Wimbledon annual tennis championships taking place, there is Pimms, strawberries, and cream at every turn. As such we thought this was the perfect opportunity to host our first ever Eligo Pimms O’clock!

Taking place on what may well have been one of the hottest days of the year, we enjoyed sunshine, tennis, Pimms, Champagne, catching up with some of our key clients and local businesses, and some tennis themed activities.

It was a great time for us to catch up with these businesses and extremely interesting to hear about the various successes and challenges they are facing within the current market. With the Pimms aptly flowing, it was particularly interesting to hear how businesses have been faring with the recruitment trends that we discussed at the beginning of the year, as well as the various recruitment costs various industries are facing due to current skills shortages.

Eligo Wimbledon Recruitment Agency EventWith our consultants expertise on hand to provide solutions to these problems, we enjoyed being able to talk about the great benefits of our new retained recruitment service Eligo IQ, as well as the various marketing activities that we work on and how we can work with clients on that front.

Of course, it wasn’t all business talk! With Andy Murray proudly winning earlier in the day, and being a Wimbledon Recruitment agency, we couldn’t help put continue with the tennis theme, getting everyone involved in a Tennis themed version of last man standing heads & tails. With a bottle of official Wimbledon bubbly as the prize, competition was obviously hard fought, but in the end one winner emerged! Congratulations to Akim Akingboye from Hachette.

Overall it was a very enjoyable day, perfectly set across the backdrop of the Wimbledon championships and the buzz that it brings the town every year. We’d like to say thank you to the many clients, candidates, and local businesses that came along, and of course our wonderful Eligoids who make Eligo what it is! We hope those that came along had a similarly great time and enjoyed catching up with their consultants, and meeting new ones.

Here’s to seeing you all again next year!

We’re extremely proud of the relationship we have with our clients, and the way our Wimbledon recruitment consultants engage in these relationships, and we’re further proud to say that it isn’t just us who thinks this way! Eligo have been selected as finalists in 4 categories in Merton Best Business awards, being selected as Best Business in SW19, Best Business in Wimbledon, Best Enterprising Business, and Best Customer Service! The final category is particularly special as it is a public vote category! We’d love to have your vote!

Please vote for us here!
