Marketing Executive required for a very well known Charity who specialise in the Medical sector based in Central London. They provide an extensive programme of meetings for the medicine industry via two venues, both based in London, they are now looking for a Marketing Executive to market both those Venues, via Digital and traditional marketing.
JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE
Support the Events Office Manager and Director in the strategic planning and day to day online and offline marketing of the business through designing, measuring and delivering marketing initiatives.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES
Market Planning. Set annual marketing objectives and budget in line with the Director's objectives and write annual marketing plan and supporting content calendar to achieve this.
Budgeting. Measure marketing performance across channels and analyse ROI of spend. Highlight areas for potential savings. Control marketing budget and ensure invoices are correctly processed.
Market Research. Undertake regular analyses of market trends and competitors. Identify opportunities for growth and potential threats, and feedback to Manager.
Client Research. Lead client research projects in order to develop understanding of our audiences, and feedback findings to Events team.
Web Analytics. Monitor user-experience statistics and conversion rates. Highlight areas for improvement and coordinate with web development team.
Website Management. Ensure all website copy and images are up to date for both venies and the Club area of the companies website. Determine effective way to monitor performance using Google Webmaster Tools including utilising Google data studio and provide regular detailed analysis on performance to the Events Office Manager, Director and Events Sales team. Email Marketing. Creative development of email campaigns and generating segmented lists to target.
Search Engine Optimisation. Oversee organic SEO activities Update websites accordingly with annual sales and marketing strategy and in line with statistical analysis, campaign and PPC performance. Pay-Per-Click Advertising. Using an external agency oversea and monitor agreed campaign management and performance in line with strategy and agency direction
Social Media. Maintain social media presence across agreed platforms and in line with overall annual strategy. Ensure social channels reflect current offers and news.
Event Marketing. Provide assistance at shows where necessary and ensure all marketing collateral is up to date. Work with team to develop ways to increase stand engagement.
To be considered for this role you must have at least 18 months commercial marketing experience from either a B2B Venue, Hotels, Conferences or Event Marketing. Only applicants with the relevant experience will be put forward, great role, a lovely charity.
